Child Development
#CD001 (3 hours)	Social Emotional Development of Infants and Toddlers Identify the characteristics of social and emotional development of young children. Examine the specific skills infants and toddlers need to acquire. Consider activities which support healthy social and emotional development for children 0 to 3 years old
#CD002 (3 hours)	Social Emotional Development of Preschoolers Identify the characteristics of social and emotional development of young children Examine the specific skills preschool children need to acquire Consider activities which support healthy social and emotional development for children 3 to 5 years old
#CD005 (3 hours)	Toilet Training Consider a variety of factors affecting toilet training readiness and success Examine guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatrics and other health professionals Explore suggested practices in dealing with toilet training resistance Great training to open to parents!
Curriculum
#CUR001 (3 hours)	Intentional Teaching: Language and Literacy Overview of best practices and intentional teaching Examine "child-guided" versus "adult-guided" language learning experiences Explore hands-on activities and strategies to promote language and literacy
#CUR002 (3 hours)	Intentional Teaching: Mathematics and Scientific Inquiry Overview of best practices and intentional teaching Examine "child-guided" versus "adult-guided" math and science activities Explore hands-on activities and strategies to promote meaningful math and science skills
#CUR005 (3 hours)	Environmental Rating Scales Become more familiar with the subscales and items of the ITERS and ECERS Evaluate your program and practice scoring using the rating scales Identify areas which need improvement and develop strategies to address these needs
#CUR004 (3 hours)	Child Observation and Assessment Examine various of methods of observing and documenting children’s progress and development Introduction to basic principles of Work Sampling System and the Ounce Scale as guidance for observations Develop strategies to make observations an integral part of the daily routine

$250 - 3 HOUR CORE KNOWLEDGE TRAINING for 1-9
$375 - 6 HOUR CORE KNOWLEDGE TRAINING for 1-9*

FOR 10-25 PARTICIPANTS:

   $375 - 3 HOUR CORE KNOWLEDGE TRAINING for 10-25
   $650 - 6 HOUR CORE KNOWLEDGE TRAINING for 10-25*
            ($10 fee for each additional participant beyond 25)

*Two 3 hour sessions can be combined for the 6 hour rate
